The best advice I can give is to "go with the flow." I heard so many people that go so upset that they couldn't snorkel in GC or that something else didn't go their way and they would talk about how horrible the whold cruise was, etc. There is always a chance that things might not work out quite like planned but having a back up plan or just winging it may be the course of action. Just accept it and don't let it ruin the other parts of the vacation.

For instance, we couldn't go on our excursion in GC but we just went to the beach instead. I was listening to on group on the bus talk about their excursion getting cancelled and how the whole vacation su**ec so far and that that was just the way it was going to be. I couldn't believe that an afternoon in Kew West and a day at sea had been so bad, but am sure that the rest of their vacation would be horrible because of their negative perception.

Just "Go with the Flow" and enjoy whatever you do. It will make for a much better vacation.

My friends' daughters are 8 and 7 and are going on the Magic 7 day on 12/13 this year. They are really hoping to see their favorite princesses (especially Aurora/Sleeping Beauty) and wonder if they have to make reservations for the character breakfast, and they heard something about a princess tea/brunch. Do you know if any of this has to be reserved before sailing?

There were princesses everywhere. I have 2 boys and don't know one princess from another but there were times that 4 or 5 gathered in the atrium for photos and autographs (there were at last 3 times they did this). The times were announced in the Navigator. There was a tea that had to signed up for, but I don't know the details about it.

The character breakfast is assigned. The day and time will be on your meal tickets. There is tea with wendy that you can sign up for, but I don't know about a 'princess' tea. We didn't do either. My kids aren't that interested in trying to make breakfast just to see the characters.
