We returned home late Sat. night from a 1 week stay. We loved THV. Awesome. having stayed in a GV in June and the THV this past week we are effectively spoiled for life!!!! We loved the quiet at THV. We had no issues with bus transfers and loved the boat ride to either DTD or the main area of SSR.

Sounds awesome! I need some Pixie Dust as I am calling tomorrow to try for a THV next year:love: If not, I'll take the 2br (what can I say, we'll be at DISNEY:thumbsup2) but would love to be able to get the THV...:rolleyes1

Thanks for sharing. I have some friends that will be staying in a THV next summer and are eagerly awaiting that trip.

We are going to WDW on Nov 19 but don't check into THV until Monday. Can't wait for Thanksgiving stay.

Hi Paticake,
Thanks for sharing about your trip and glad to hear you had a nice time. I continue to hear good things about the Treehouse Viilas. Every trip report I read just lets me know I need to call soon and make a reservation. The Grand Villa will spoil you for sure so if this is even better I can't wait! :thumbsup2

That's wonderful to hear!

Our wonderful news is that our SSR contract has closed, and we're just waiting for the points to be in our account. We're hoping for a treehouse stay before the cruise that's on the timeline below!

We were at SSR last week too, staying in Congress Park. We have a THV stay booked for March so we took a walk over and we're really pleased with the area. It was very quiet and there wasn't a soul around the pool at 1pm. The parking is quite close to each villa and the boat was really convenient. It does a loop DTD, SSR, THV, SSR, DTD. Looks good for teens and adults who can get around by themselves. Younger children will need to be escorted to SSR to take part in activities and enjoy the feature pools.

Can't wait to check it out!

Glad you had a great stay :yay: I would love to stay at THV but I have a feeling it will be a while before those who don't own SSR will be able to book at the 7 month window:sad1:

Never say never..... My bro just booked 4 nights in a THV for the second week of June at 7 mos!

Sounds idyllic - glad you enjoyed your stay. :)

I'm going to check out the points chart again to work out how many points we'd need for next year's vacation - I've always wanted to stay in a treehouse. :hippie:

So glad to hear you liked it, I've heard some mixed reviews. We're staying there in January, there will only be four of us, so we should have lots of room to spread out! I love the idea of being so isolated in our own little "cabin". My spouse uses an ecv, so we have an accessible unit, I love the accessible ramps they have created for those units. Seen lots of pictures but counting the days will we're there!:yay:

Aren't they wonderful? We were there Sept. 6-11(Labor Day was the 7th). It was fantastic. Whenever we are there with the family, we will stay there. :thumbsup2
