Just back from POR (8/12-8/18)Loved It!

I'm worried about the bus situation. I hope it's better in late October.

We were there mid-Aug, and the bus situation was manageable. Are lots of folks waiting? Yes. Are there plenty of buses coming? Yes, again. It does work out. Coming home, once you're dropped off at your bus stop, it's a short, beautiful walk back to your resort room. At night it's just gorgeous.

We stayed at POR for the first time the end of July, my son and I really enjoyed this resort, much more than I thought we would. We were in AB 39, good location across bridge from main pool. The landscaping is lush and the resort seems uncrowded and peaceful. I was fearing the worst with the bus transportation, but actually it was not that bad. We avoided the early a.m. rush though and headed out later in the morning. There are long lines for most all the resorts at park closing, but we still never waited more than 10 minutes and only had to stand once. Enjoy!

I agree that the busses will be congested at closing time. We only used it once and that was for EMH so everyone was trying to get home. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Like someone else posted, once you get off you have a beautiful walk to your room and that in itself is worth the crowded busses. You'll have fun no matter what- your at Disney!

Your welcome! I was so worried that I would not like AB but pictures do not do it justice- it is a very beautiful resort and I was not in the least bit disappointed- you have to see for yourself!
