Well, some of us were raised properly and some weren't. I know from how I was raised that it is proper to give your seat up to someone who is elderly or who has some other infirmity. If I happen to be sitting, and my 8 year old is next to me, it's not that difficult to put him in my lap so that someone else can sit down. We all have the right to go on an enjoyable vacation - with or without infirmities.
That having been said - I met some of the rudest and most unfriendly people at the more Deluxe resorts - with the notable exception of WL. We accidentally wandered onto the Concierge level while touring the resort and met some really nice friendly people. A very nice couple laughed at our mistake and invited us to sit with them! Well, needless to say I thanked them and got my kids the heck out of there! I don't think that the people at POP are going to be any more or less well mannered than others!
