We just got back from Pop yesterday, the crowds were low and everyone had a great time. Pop was great, wonderful decor and very colorful, our only complaints were the beds were so uncomfy and the walls seemed to be paper thin. I came prepared with ear plugs as I am a VERY light sleeper so every night I just put my ear plugs in and I slept fine. During the evenings though you could hear everything going on in the room next to you.

Everything Pop was great, and the staff was always helpful and cheery. :thumbsup2

We probably won't stay at Pop again as I like to have a more comfortable bed, and a little less noise in my room but it was a good vacation anyway.

If anyone has any questions, let me know.

Got back from the POP yesterday. I paid xtra for a preferred room, so they put us around the corner (room 5651) from the blue Yo-yo. We were lucky, it was very quiet in that section. The only time I heard people walk by our decorated hotel window and comment about it. :santa:

we just got back on Friday- we stayed at Ft. Wilderness cabins but my parents stayed at Pop. Section 90's and their only complaint were the beds. Just not comfy.

We are staying there our next trip (we just couldn't afford to stay at SSR again)! Any recommendations? Are the beds really uncomfortable? My hubby had back surgery a few years back and that concerns me! We have booked a preferred room due to my mobility issues. It looked like the "neatest" of the values to us, I can't wait to see it! Is the noise really unbearable? Thanks! :goodvibes

We just got back from Pop and we loved it! We had a preferred room just around the corner from the pool, did not hear any pool noise. Slept fine with the bathroom door closed at all times. Only heard people walking by in the mornings around 8 am, but we were already on our way out.:)

I've stayed at Pop six or seven times now. I love the food court! I've never found it to be loud - we always get a first floor room due to mobility issues. Personally, I found the beds to be just fine - they aren't Serta pillowtops or anything - but I like a firm matress.

We got back from POP on 11/4, and we absolutely loved it. I like a firm bed...and it's not like I didn't fall asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow anyway! LOL

EVERYTHING POP was very cool. The only thing I would change, is that I'd make the retail section a bit larger. Other than that, seems very good for families like mine.

We had a pool view on the 2nd floor at the Bowling Pin in the 50's section. Great location. I'd recommend it!

I had surgery a few years back to and my back bothers me from time to time as well, however I didnt find these beds uncomfortable. They definitely are not the highest quality matresses, and some may have taken abuse from years of kids jumping on them, but ours were never an issue at either POP or AS Sports. As for the noise. It is a bit noisy and if you get loud neighbors I could see this to be an issue especially if you have a different sleep schedule. My family is all pretty heavy sleepers and dont have an issue though.
