We stayed at PC for a week. It's been years since we stayed on-site. There were only a few times that we had to wait more than 30 minutes for a bus, a few times we got to sit, and lots of times that we had to stand. We were in the 90's room 9354. Not much of a view, but we weren't in the room much. I liked the atmosphere of the resort, the Hippy Dippy pool was closed once for somethng that shouldn't have been there, and all pools were closed 2x for lightning. Here comes my only "un-magical" moment. We were in the pool and could see the sky getting dark and some lightening. The lifeguards have a device that tells them how close it is. I heard "41 miles". Then I heard " I hope it gets closes so we can leave). Then "32 miles - 1 more mile!". Finally "31 miles everyone out of the pool. I'm going to buy shoes, what are you going to do?" Bummer for us. Other than that downer, we had a great stay.:goodvibes

I work for the transportation dept at a school and we do the same thing.

Well the lifeguards are only human...and just like a lot of people, they would rather be out having fun than working. (You should hear how excited we teachers get when it starts snowing at school & we're praying loudly to go home early!:goodvibes )

It's too bad they had to comment within earshot of guests though.

Glad you had fun at POP!!

That is too funny those Cms at POP are always joking around. I would think they were doing just that ,as they are not allowed to leave (at least thats what the BC guards told us) as the pool can and normally does open back up once the storm passes.

Glad you had a geat trip we enjoy PC when we stay there as well.

Although I would've never said that outloud, that would've been the monologue in my head when I worked at Blizzard Beach. We'd usually close the whole park for the day (storms usually came in after 3PM). On a couple rare occasions we opened up, but then there was hardly anyone there so some of us could go home. I worked as a food and beverage hostess and it was a bad place to work. But...I digress!

I don't want to hear that the cast members are human. I want them to be smiley and happy when ever they're on stage and interacting with me!

I am booked at POP in August and just got a PIN code on a postcard, WOO HOO! I called (save six bucks a night) but no availablity at POP, we would have to switch to All Stars. Even though I am not one to see ANY bargain slip away, I didn't do it. WE are psyched for POP, the coke icee machine, we are in a fridge swap, and the kids have a theme song... A cheapskate like me may need to join a support group for NOT taking the deal! :lmao: Tell me some great things about your stay!

:lmao: Shoes I'm with her him lol We are staying at pop this coming Feb and I can't wait Goody Goody Goody:yay:

We enjoyed the frozen drinks at Pop. There was only 1 time that they were out of order. The kids enjoyed the games that were played in the lobby. We decorated our room window with all sorts of stuff. The beds were comfortable, air conditioning was great, toilets loud, and was not bothered by connecting rooms. Nothing woke me up until the alarm went off.
