The longest line we encountered during our entire visit was the check-in line at PC on Saturday (because of Marathon weekend).

At first, I thought the giant icons were kind of silly looking until I saw them at night all lit up. The rubik's cube looked really cool.

The food court is awesome! I loved the chicken asiago sandwich, the chicken soup, the twinkie tiramisu. DH had a meatball sandwich and the barbecued beef sandwich and really liked them. I thought the food was reasonably priced for Disney food.

The bus service was great! Didn't have to wait long at all. The only thing is they put PC at the end of the line at the parks, past all the All Star's. The strange thing is we saw very few AS buses, I think everyone was staying at PC. One night at closing at Epcot, they already had two PC buses waiting.

The gift shop was very nice too, larger than AS if I remember correctly.

Housekeeping could have been a little better. There was a toothpick and quite a few crumbs along the edge of the room and we did not have any toothpicks. We still left a tip, though, I think they deserved one.

Hi,

We were also there over marathon weekend. Did you freeze to death on Sat too? Our longest line was also checking in on Fri night. We had requested the 70's building but got the 80's. It was a little bit further away from bus stop and classic hall but it was fine. I too love the food court. The variety is so much better than the counter service at the deluxe resorts. If you went to MGM, PC had the closest bus stop. We got lucky there. Overall I would give the resort a B. It really suited us for this trip b/c it was just dh and myself and we were NEVER in the room. If I were to go back with the kids (ds-3, dd-2) I would go for a deluxe resort b/c of conv. and room size. We would be spending more time in the room b/c of naps and such.

Maybe we saw you there! We did go to MGM but park-hopped to AK so didn't pay attention to where the Pop Century bus was. I was surprised that I felt cold every morning and evening. Especially considering it's way warmer at WDW than at home! I agree on your rating for the resort. I think it was great for the money (we did the CTH rate of $55/night). We did a couples only trip too, only our kids are 17 and 20. They were a little miffed but have been to Disney enough that it was ok with them. :)

WDW Fun & terribm,

Thank you both for posting as you can see from my timer I'm going to give Pop Century a try, Have already used all my DVC points for this year...But I still love trying the other Resorts...::yes::

I have a very important question...how good/bad is the coffee in the food court?

I'm not the most picky person regarding my morning coffee, but I am used to fresh ground/brewed coffee. I survived most days on Folgers when visiting my mother, but that's as far as a can stretch it.

T&B

I think it's the same coffee found at all WDW food courts. Which isn't very good.

Coffee is not very good at all. I think most of WDW uses Nescafe.

I think the pictures of the food court look great - I cant wait to try it! Glad to hear the bus service is good - we just cancelled the hire car so we could split our stay and so I could fulfill my wish to stay at the Beach Club.
I actually like the WDW coffee::yes::

Thanks for the coffee info. I think I am going to buy and bring along a little Melitta Dual Thermal Mug Coffeemaker. That way I can have the coffee first thing in the morning and won't have to make the trip with my 4yo to the food court. The coffeemaker is kind of big so didn't really want to have to go that route, but I think it will be worth it for the $20 it costs. If my DH were going I could send him out to get coffee every morning like I've done in the past.

Thanks, T&B
