Just back from Polynesian

Just back from a fantastic stay at the Polynesian. My daughter was there 7/11- 7/15. Awesome resort. Our room was in Aotearoa, room 3230. It was third floor with a wonderful view of the Grand Floridian. When I checked in they were very accomadating to my location request. I had initially requested Somoa but I ended up loving this location more. You could hear the Lauau at night which was really nice. Transportation is so easy to get over to the MK or Epcot. Just hop on the monorail or launch from the beach. Overall I would say the Polynesian is worth the money. The cast members all very nice and resort very clean.Also our room had no musty odor .

JOAnn, glad you had a nice time. I am glad you said no musty smell cause when I was there last June I didn't get that smell either. For an older hotel it was clean, keep up nice and no odors.

Welcome back and glad your stay was fantastic ....I am so excited about our upcomming stay in August...Did you eat dessert at the Kona cafe? I can't wait for KoKo Puffs and the Kileuea torte...

My daughter and I did eat dinner one night at the Kona Cafe but I was to stuffed to try the desserts. They looked delicious. I had the sirloin steak that was cooked just perfect. We also did the character breakfast at Ohana's. That was alot of fun. During breakfast they give all the kids shakers and they do a parade around the restaurant. The food was served family style on a wok. I loved the pineapple coconut bread. The hot items included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, mickey waffles, and potatos. I think the food was better here than at the castle breakfast.
