Just back from 7 nights at the Poly. We loved it. Our faxed room requests were all met. Our room (3913 Tokelau) was spectacular with lagoon views for garden prices.
Loved the convienence of the Poly transportation for small children. Easy stroller access with the monorail. Great boat ride to Magic Kingdom, and easy walk to TTC.
All the staff were helpful and nice.
Got the mugs - well worth the price.
We didn't love the snack bar food, but liked the Kona Cafe. (you can get takeout there too!) Got the kids pasta and meatballs for dinner (one order is plenty for 2 small kids). Husband and I got room service 3x. We ordered 2 salads and an app or 1 entree. It was plenty and worth being able to eat later after the kids were done and we enjoyed an adult beverage.
All and all loved the Poly. The facility is older but the size of the rooms, relaxing atmosphere, ease of transportation, and location make it a winner. (I am usually super critical - but I was pleasantly surprised)
