What is up with that wood sticking out from the bed? That looks like it would hurt if you ran into it.

I slid the mattress and box spring up against the wall so my DD wouldn't fall off when she napped the first day. The wood is the platform. Mousekeeping came up later with bedrails.

Great pics!!! This will give my DH a better idea of what the rooms look like. We stayed at ASMo back in 2004 and I would like to stay at a mod for our next trip.

did you go the the same resort as we did? we were at POFQ from Sept 30th-Oct 9th, had 0 bus problems, no long lines, no long waits, I only had to stand once(coming back from epcot one night).

Yay! Hubby and I will be there in January. He'll be happy with the root beer and I'm happy about the cherry coke. I already forewarned him that it's Coke products and not Pepsi. We'll be getting our fill on the refillable mugs with those though.

And did anyone notice the birds claws on the bedspread? Looks like M M...for Mickey Mouse perhaps?

we got back a week ago from POFQ stayed 9/18-10/4 and really loved it, also got building 5 room 5204, overlooking the pool. Was really impressed with the rooms and the resort, and loved the boat to DTD. Wasn't too impressed with the food court, thought the service was a little slow, and the food quality on an evening was not wonderful, however the beignets were delicious. We also suffered with very long queues for the buses, especially coming back from epcot on 10/3 after the fireworks, but we had a rental car for one week which helped. Would definately stay there again, although we would have a rental car for the whole holiday next time.

We stayed at POFQ 9/25-10/1, building 4. We had no problems with the bus services at all in the mornings or most afternoons. Thursday (9/29) we did have a very long wait at MGM after Fantasmic. For some reason, the ropes were set up with the waiting area totally closed off, so our line was very long. However, another guest set the ropes up to allow us all to line up in the ropes. Once the line was set up properly, I think we only had to wait for a second or third bus to arrive. They were definitely standing room only that evening. But, the rest of the week, we had very few people on the bus in the evening.
