got in last night at 10:00 pm ..any questions......was there 3/9-3/17...GREAT weather......perfect...couldn't have been better;)

Never stayed there before, usually say in DVC resort. Check in 5/2 check out 5/5. Requested Alligator Bayou section buildings 14 or 15. What do you think. How about the Bus service, I here it can be slow. Is it quiet like OKW?

What section and building were you in?
How was the food and prices in the food court?
Were their any noticeable renovations taking place?
How was transportation to the parks?

Will be there the first week of June and would appreciate any info.

HI All.........we were in Magnolia terrace.....room 8565......good room close to the food court. pools. buses, and laundry.....all the important things.......the food court was all up and running prices seemed about the same......average meal $5-7.we ate at Baotwrights twice, breakfast and dinner...not much wait 10 minutes top......foos was really good there, great omelettes and like to sit down and be served for a change the food court seemed pretty packed at prime times hard to find tables some mornings.the pool isn't under construction they just blocked off under the bridge section so you can't swim under it any more..didn't see any construction on the buildings at all it must be all done ..the buses were quick..no more than a 15 min wait most waits were only 5-10.we ate at OKW on sunday our leaving day for lunch that was nice at Olivias......that resort looks much quieter than POR,,,,nice and a older crowd we noticed more kids at our hotel which is fine since our group had a 1, 4 5, & 7 year old in it........I stll Love this resort.......Riverside we stay there a lot and for $84 a night you can't beat it......

Welcome back!!

I'm glad to know the mansions are open again. We are hoping to stay there in June.

I read on another post that now CBR has the farthest bus stops at the parks instead of Riverside. Did you notice where the Riverside buses dropped off in relation to the stops for the other moderate resorts and the All Stars? Just curious cause I had always heard that the Riverside buses dropped off farther from the gates than the other resorts. Thanks.:)

Just there in Feb. the bus drop off at theme parks was the 2nd to 3rd from the last bus stop. Not much closer but it is better than being at the end.:p

Wow..I thought I was doing really good getting POR at $94 plus tax. Is that a code rate or an AP rate you got?

Does the "blockage" under the bridge look to be permanent (in the pool)?

Thanks.

Welcome back from POR. My wife and I were there 3/3-3/9. This was our third time staying here. We really enjoy the grounds, food and the overall resort. We stayed at CBR a while back and did not like it. We will keep staying at POR everytime we are at Disney. I love Boatright's for breakfast. It is the best meal of the day, sausage omlettes, potatoes, fresh coffee....just great start for the day. Food court is also amazing, great variety of food and big. We stayed in Arcadia section. We have always stayed in Alligator, but we were given the mansion this time around. I liked it. Weather was not so good when we went, arctic blast came down from the north and we were in the 30's at night and 50's during day. I know the day we left it was going up to the 80's and stay that way for a while. I know you had great weather. Welcome back......

the $84 a night was a code rate I got last fall.........rack rate would have been $100 more for my same week a night.......the blockage at the pool looked permanent to me....but no big deal really..Grabom..I was watching the weather that week you were down there getting nervous........being from maine I didn't want COLD..........sorry for your weather..we did luck out it was in the 80"s everyday with all sun and no rain..............next year we will be going down a week earlier And I Hope it'll be ok...I think it is the luck of the draw what you get this time of year.........
