Friday night we took our 2 3/4 yr old dd to see Playhouse disney live on stage. Souveniers were expensive as expected, but we got then anyway. paid $16 for a spinning light up handy manny toy and $24 for a small stuffed annie from little einsteins, and $4 for a coloring book. So, not extremely outrageous. The show lasted about 1 1/2 hours, with 15 minutes of that being an intermission.
The show held our daughters attention well, and she clapped, and sang, and danced. We had 10th row seats and had a pretty good view. She especially loved seeing the einsteins and rocket!
Overall, even with 3 tickets costing around $110, we are glad that we went, and my dh & I enjoyed the event also.
Hope that anyone going soon has a good time!

We will be going on 12/30 and I am pretty sure dd and ds will be getting one of those spinning light up toy each to add to our collection of spinning light up toy! Did they have a toolbox toy from Handy Manny?

Dd and ds can't wait to go!

They did have the tool box. It was about $22 and came with several small plastic tools.
They also had:
Stuffed tools $10 each
Stuffed LE & Pooh Tigger characters $24 each
LE light up baton $20
spinny light up toy $16
Coloring books $4
Programs $12
Souvenier Cup w/drink $8
Rocket Cup with snow cone $12
Cotton Candy with HM Hard hat $10
Plus several different tshirts around $24 each
I'm sure I missed a thing or two, but that about sums it up, lol!

Hope you guys have a great time!!!

We went a few months ago. All the parents that were around us laughed at me cause of the way I clapped when Mickey mouse came out. lol

They have the cutest Handy Manny Plush Tool Box at disneyshopping.com for 16.50. I ordered one for my son and it is AWESOME. It has all the tools...check it out. We also enjoyed the Play House Disney Live show...well worth the money.

We are going December 1st. We were planning on getting a souvie or 2 for DS and those prices are pretty much what I expected.

Thanks for the review. We are loking for to it. DS doens't even know that we are going yet:cool1:

Be warned that the Little Einsteins are real people...had to figure out how to explain this to my dd5 (who saw them at Hollywood and Vine). Also, June looked about 40!

I wonder if my dd will ask the same question...she will be almost 4 1/2 when we go next month, and we also saw them at Hollywood and Vine in August. I have seen the ad for Playhouse disney live on tour on tv, and was a little disappointed at how June looked...isn't June supposed to be Asian?

We also just saw the Little Einsteins in September, when we were at Disney and had lunch at Hollywood Play & Vine, we also saw Handy Manny. Our daughter did not notice a difference and never asked any questions. To a certain extent, I was glad they were realy people, b/c she was deathly afraid of any & all characters while we were in Disney.
