Just Back from PBH!

We are just back from our two night stay at the Portofino Bay Hotel. We had a beautiful Deluxe Room with a Bay View. Location was perfect, weather could not have been better and we had a great time

I am Loews Gold and the white wine and nuts were in the room when we arrived. I booked with a AAA rate and we enjoyed our stay.

Glad to hear you had a nice time! I have a deluxe room booked at PBH in August. I've never stayed at Universal before and I'm really looking forward to it. Was the hotel easy to get around? Did you eat at any of the restaurants at PBH? We're staying a week and plan to have a lot of down time to relax at the resort and use the pools. Thanks.

I think you will love Portofino Bay - it really is a beautiful hotel. We were in room 4203. It was a deluxe room with two queens overlooking the harbor. It was in an excellent location because we could see the water taxi comiing. Since we weren't too far away from the elevator, we would just head down to the harbor level and walk to the dock. By the time we got there, the boat was waiting for us.

The hotel is big and a little confusing, but you catch on quickly. You can walk to Citywalk and the parks from PBH. It is about a 15-20 minute walk. We took the water taxi this visit, but we have walked in the past.

We didn't eat at the hotel. We were there two nights. One night we ate at the Hard Rock Hotel at Citywalk and the next night we ate at Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific.
