Just back from our stay at PC...

the 8 of us ages ranging from 4 to 38 thought this resort was wonderful....definitely eye candy for the children.
Faxed our room request 4 days prior to arrival and got everything we wanted....Building 6 in the 70's, 4th floor, facing Hourglass Lake. Very quiet and serene. Great for reflecting on the days events and planning for the next.

Welcome home. Glad you had a great time and enjoyed the PC. We were going to stay there but the September codes came so we upgraded to CBR. We will probably still check the place out for future stays.

I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Isnt bldg 6 in the 70s great. That's where we stayed.. 3rd floor though.. same side. It was very relaxing I felt.

And its really close to everything. Again, glad you enjoyed it! Welcome home.

LOL! We just did the same thing! We were going to stay at PC and we just upgraded with the new codes to CBR! We stayed at PC in December and really liked it. We have never stayed at CBR and we wanted to see what it was like.

Thanks to the advice from fellow Dis'ers I did fax my request in 4 days prior to arrival. I didn't expectto get all that I asked for though. What a nice surprise. I also called WDW travel co. and had them put my request on my reservation.

Could you see the fireworks from your room? I have heard that from some areas you could see Wishes.

We were never around to catch the fireworks from the resort...but i did here that if you walked to the end of our balcony you could see them over past Hourglass lake.

Maybe someone else can confirm this......?

We were in the 50s building in December, and we could see them from the end of our building. I don't remember the room number we had though, we were at the very end of the resort (had the longest walk to the main building), but it wasn't a bad walk at all.
