Just back from our First Trip Home to BCV!

We LOVED it! I was slightly worried when we bought sight unseen that my family wouldn't care for DVC. We'd walked through the Beach & Yacht Club a few times and thought the resort looked awesome. But DVC surpassed all my expectations.
My whole family loved Stormalong Bay. It was so nice the way they cast members monitor the pool so that only registered guests are using it. There were plenty of lawn chairs every afternoon. The pool was very clean and really not crowded.
Beaches and Cream was great! We had the Kitchen Sink. (Didn't put a dent into it, but loved it anyway.)
We had a 2 bedroom and I was so happy with the extra space. I thought that everything was in great shape. (Only exception was the laundry door was off it's hinge.) Having a washer and dryer was my favorite part! I was able to wash all of our laundry before we packed to leave for home. Our room was 124 and it was exceptionally quiet.
We ordered our groceries through Wegoshop.com. They were wonderful. They delivered everything to our door within 15 minutes of our order delivery time. They called in advance to ask me about any substitutions that the store didn't stock. I was able to pick the grocery store I wanted them to shop from too.
DVC has to be one of the best things I've ever purchased! Now that I know we absolutely love it, I think we'll start looking out for an add on in a couple months. I think it wouldn't hurt to add on a small contract so we can extend our vacations a little longer.

We too bought in sight unseen, choosing the BCV over Boardwalk and Saratoga. So glad to see such a positive post about our "home." Can't wait to go myself - first trip scheduled for 2006! Long time to wait, but I know it will be well worth it.

Thanks for the great report! Sounds like you had an awesome room. I love ground floor...can't be the easiness.

Also, glad to hear you had a great experience with Wegoshop. I am seriously thinking about using them in December, especially since we are arriving in the evening. Did they come to your room? Or did you meet them in the lobby?
