It was great meeting you and your husband while you were down! Sorry I missed you on Monday, but I wasn't feeling well at all and stayed in bed all day LOL.
Hopefully you'll be down to visit again soon, and you HAVE to post pictures of that Tiki when it arrives!
We kept looking for you on Monday! LOL It was great to meet you too and my DH thinks we've seen you before on previous trips because you look so familiar.
I will definitely be posting pictures of my special tiki drummer when he arrives!

The full story will be on my web site, too.
Hi, Terry! Meeting you and John was one of the highlights of my trip. I have read so many of your posts and looked at so many of your photos that I regard you as a celebrity! For those of you who were not there, I assure you that Terry and John are very nice, wonderful people. I hope that you get to meet them sometime.
I will post a GF trip report in a day or two. I liked the GF, but it's not the Poly. The Poly is so special and my favorite Disney resort.
Luke, one of the memorable moments of this trip for me was when John and I were in Bou-Tiki and I heard someone say "Are you Terry?" and it was you! I was so glad to finally meet you!! Thanks so much for the kind words; everyone that we met on this trip was so nice and friendly

Looking forward to your GF trip report!
Seaspray,
I'm so GLAD I found your post! I too have been reading the mixed reviews and getting nervous. Your pictures make me just ooze with anticipation of staying there next June 08. The beach, views and the cabanas ahhh! just pure Disney heaven.
SO you stay on the conceierge (sorry sp it's late) level, have you stayed in non before? Are the experiecnces the same? I know you don't get all the extra perks, but will the CM's still go out of there way (when they can) to assist you? It's always a bonus when traveling with small kids.
Thanks again for the wonderful pictures and report.
We've only ever stayed on the concierge level while at the Polynesian, but I would definitely stay in a non-concierge room. The difference would be that there'd be no lounge in the non-concierge buildings, but the CMs at the front desk of the resort are VERY friendly and helpful, so you would have them to assist you if you needed it. We've had dealings with the front desk CMs before on various trips and they've always been great.
Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing! I am so excited for our first stay at the Poly in two months! It's a dream come true for me. I can't wait to get my hands on that pressed coffee pot! REAL Coffee in Disney!!!

Those Kona pics have my mouth watering!
We had the Kona coffee press pot every single morning and it was SOOO good! LOL I highly recommend it!
We just got back from EMH at EPCOT and we are exhausted. We decided to go on line to check some news and we laughed when we seen your post because we are still here at the POLY. This is being typed live from the Hawaii building as we speak. LOL!
SeaSpray it was a pleasure to meet you and your DH and you're a credit to the people to the DIS. It was real nice to have dinner with you and your DH.
Both my wife and I are wiped out and we're going to bed, and just think we have 3 more days here at the POLY.
Hi Eddie! I've been thinking about you and your family, continuing with your vacation this week!!

We were so glad to meet all of you and to have dinner with you at 'Ohana. You and Mary Ann are such nice people and your DSs are beautiful boys.

Getting to know all of you made this trip even more special. I know you'll have a great time for the rest of this week!!
What great pics, SeaSpray - thanks for sharing! Sounds like you had a great vacation!
I just love the vibrancy of all the landscaping around the Poly - it's making my heart ache - I need to get back there sometime soon!
BTW - how did you get that cute drink at Kona with Tink on it (and was that a straw, or some sort of plastic figure)? Would love to get one at my dinner there in September - we

Kona, too!
Those drinks are called "Pirate Punch" and we saw them on (I think!) every menu of every sit-down restaurant. You can get either the Tink or Capt Hook figure. The drink in the cup is some sort of raspberry lemonade (I think! LOL) but one of our friends asked to have Coke instead and the waiter had no problem with that. The cups are cute, and straws are color-changing straws, and the Tink or Capt Hook lights up. They have tiny buttons on them so you can turn them off and on. Tink and Capt Hook do have clips on them, and you can unclip them from the straws. We saw people walking around with them clipped to their shirts, bags, etc. Our friend even clipped hers into her hair. lol
