Hello
Well ... our holiday is over and we are now back in reality here in the snow again (although it has been raining). We stayed at OL for a week and were very impressed with this resort. We were in the new East Village, which I was very pleased with. It was absolutely immaculate. The only thing that was not completely clean, was the highchair they delivered to our room for our daughter. But hey ... that was easy enough to clean up. Other than that, it was gorgeous. We had a pool between our building and the one next door, that our oldest daughter spent hours in. We never made it to the North Village as she was content there, as she is almost 3 yrs old and was happy enough to just be in the water. I didn't swim much, because unfortunately our infant became quite ill with RSV while we were there, so my time wasn't much of a 'holiday'.
The only draw back was the supposed 60 min. timeshare presentation. Yes we could have turned them down, but we were curious, and a bit interested, and a free breakfast sounded good (the food was good!). This turned into a three hour shark attack!! Anyway ... I did take the offer to rebook within two years, but am still debating if I did the right thing. I could probably find a cheaper week to rent on Ebay, but no guarantees. Plus I'm planning on going back in 2006 and the new water park will definitely be up and running by then, which will be great for the kids.
Anyway ... just thought I'd let anyone know who is planning on going there, that we were very happy!!! I wish we were still there as this week the weather is AWESOME ... and my kids are HEALTHY!! ugh ...
