I was there Wed. night with my DH. it was his first visit. had a pretty good time and saw everything quickly with express passes. at one point I got to lead the way through one of the houses and that was fun not having anyone in front of me. :)

I LOVED the Forbidden Journey ride! IMO, its the best ride in Orlando.
Great work Universal! :thumbsup2

I agree about Forbidden Journey. I've never been to HHN but will plan on it in the future.

this was our first HHN and it was greta but super crowded!

we waited in The Orfanage for 75 minutes, and Zombiegeddon was the same. the scare zones were awasome!!

next year we will either get there super early when they open or opt to buy the express...either way twenty years of fear is the begining for us :)

I couldn't imagine waiting in those long lines we saw as we breezed our way through with express passes. they are a must. I won't go without them anymore.

The lines were not that long on Wednesday...The posted wait at one house was 15min, I waited 10. The longest we waited was 20min or so for the old icon house, and that was because they were pulsing horribly. I did ALL houses by 8:30pm. I could have done Bill and Ted and the magic shows, but we chose to skip them.

Express was really not needed on Wednesday night.

I hear ya...this year I got the FFP with Express and it's great! If you decide to go through the standby line, it's nice to know you can come back with Express. EPs have been necessary on several trips...especially last week during Hell Week.

I have to disagree. the lines were long. very long. maybe not as long as they are on weekends, but still too long to wait without EP's. from what I saw the lines were longer than I have ever seen in all my 11 yrs of HHN's. (I avoid weekends) I just don't see how anybody without express could have seen all the houses in one night. and to have seen them all without express and be out of there by 8:30, AMAZES me. but we didn't do stay and scream so maybe thats why our lines were longer than yours.

What was hell week?

It's the week when the local schools are out making HHN very busy. It's usually the week...or in this year's case two...when HHN is on Wednesday night.

So last Wednesday (27th) was a hell week night? that explains things. :hippie:

Yup...normally there is only one Wednesday night but this year it was two because of the school holidays. Phamton even mentioned it to me when I was over there last weekend.
