Calypso where did you find that painting of WDW? I need that in my living room...lol. My wife and I are taking our 2 1/2 yr old daughter to the MNSSHP on Oct.17th , we put her to bed and I stayed up to get the first report on the parade. I feel like a little kid, now I have to wake my wife up and give her the update. P.S. These boards are evil, my wife and I can't stay off them...lol.

Thomas Kinkade did that painting in honor of Disneyland's 50th anniversary.

Thanks for the report Demosthenes! I agree, I wish Disney would release the music for the fireworks and the parade. They are both very well done. I've said it before, I think those two events are worth the admission alone. Glad you had fun!

The characters we saw were:

Captain Jack Sparrow, Wendy, Peter Pan, Smee & Captain Hook in Adventureland.

Well now I have just gotten bloody excited. Okay, I already was bloody excited. But now I am....over the moon excited? Yes, that fits.

Reading this makes me want to cry...

I bought tickets for tonight and planned a whole getaway, only to have school get in the way.

Grrr...can I wait until graduation to move to WDW? May 2008 is too far away!

Sounds like they made a pretty good line-up of characters for the party this year, with more new rarities added.
