Had a Wonderful time. The HIGHLIGHT of the trip was the Stingray city snorkel tour.....Do Not miss this one. WE booked with Disney and it was really nice. Went on air conditioned buses right to a 2 level catamaran boat. Really nice operators...Worth every penny. THis is great for most all ages. You can stand in the water...about waist to chest height in most areas. (sandbar area) Pick the early 7:30 one. By the time you leave the ship and get there it is about 9:30 and it is already HOT HOT HOT. The water is like bath water..then you can shop afterwards before you get back on board the shop. ..Also some other tips to remember. WE brought aboard 1 case of beer and 2 cases of soda (have four sons). Saved us a lot of money. We booked Cat 11 but got Cat 10 upgrade for free. Loved the split bathroom..allowed someone to take a shower while someone shaved or etc.....The rooms were real nice ...wonderful food and service. I was so impressed with Disney Cruise. WE have gone on Royal Caribbean...no where near as nice. The programs for teens and younger were great. Didn't see my sons all day....They were busy. Judy

Judy,

We were on the same cruise. We also loved Stingray City! We did the DCL excursion that did the stingrays as the last stop of the tour. You must have been getting off the boat as we were getting on :)

Judy, I have 3 boys....gave up after that!! Anyway, just curious about your experience on Royal Carib. You liked DCL better? I hear some say the opposite and we're thinking of trying another cruise line after this year...this will be our 3rd on DCL and think my teens may be bored after that and need a change w/ more activities geared for older teens....They love DCL but read the other thread about Voyager, etc and they sound better for teens. Do you have teens?

Judy,

What excursion did you sign up for. We want to just go to sting ray city. How old are your sons, and how did they like it. This is the one excursion I'm almost postive I will book. Thanks for your help.

Annette

My boys are 11, 12, 14 and almost 16....they all loved the stingray city excursion...be sure to do the early one so you can shop afterward before reboarding...Judy

What is the latest order of the shows? Obviously, the Welcome Aboard show is Saturday night, but what nights are Disney Dreams, Hercules and Morty the Magnificent? Thanks.

Saturday - Welcome Aboard Variety Show
Sunday - Morty the Magnificent
Monday - Hercules the Muse-ical
Tuesday - Who wants to be a Mouseketeer
Wednesday - Movie in the Walt Disney Theatre (this is where they do the prem-ears at Sea or show the latest film).
Thursday - Disney Dreams
Friday - Farewell Variety Show

Morty, Hercules, and Disney Dreams are also shown on your room TV live.

Thanks, Mary. Helps me with my planning, especially Wednesday night in Cozumel. I don't mind missing the movie, but I suspect we may get Pirates that night.

Btw, watching the shows on the room TV is like watching a ballgame after you know the score :)
