Well we (me, DW and DD25) did make it to HH okay on Sunday in spite of the snow and ice. It took us 7 hours for what is usually a 5 hour trip. It was worth it. This was our first stay at HH and we loved it. This was also our first time for a 2BR and WOW, we are sure spoiled now. It will be very difficult to go back to a Studio. Our unit was in a great location right next to the parking across from the marina, but within easy walk to the pool and pier area. The only thing that was not quite perfect in our unit was that the water pressure in the shower in the master bath was very low. The water pressure in the other shower was fine however. It wasn't a big enough problem to complain about though. We didn't do any of the planned activities. On Monday, we just drove around HHI and went to shops, etc. Went down to the lighthouse at Hourbour Town. We then went over to the Beach House and walked a little bit on the beach. On Tuesday we drove into Savannah. Took a tour of the Judith Low birthplace. DW and DD really enjoyed this as they were both involved with the girl scouts. The house is really amazing because most of the furnishings are original to the family and house. We then walked along the river before heading back. Dining wise on Sunday we just ate leftovers from Christmas dinner we had taken with us (the kitchen in the 2BR was great). On Monday, we had lunch at the Crazy Crab at Harbour Town and dinner at Cracker Barrel. Tuesday we had lunch at Tony Romas in Savannah and dinner at the Old Oyster Factory. Between the two seafood restaurants we liked the Crazy Crab better. Next visit we want to try Hudsons. DW and myself are looking forward to our trip back next August where we have a 1BR booked. As much as we liked it this time, I think we'll like it a whole lot more in the Summer.
