Just back from HH

We just returned from our 4 night stay at HH. We had a great time. We were there in June also but absolutely prefer this time of year! The weather was fabulous. Not too hot and humid, but beautiful enough to still swim and spend time at the beach.
We ate dinner at Old Oyster Factory - excellent scallops.
Wild Wings - great,great wings, but the WORST waitress on the planet. And of course the shrimp boil at the resort. I would go just for that bbq pork loin, it is good. Also had lunch at the beach house, Salty Dog - really liked it, and Guiseppie's-very good will definitely return there.
DD9 had fun playing pool, at the campfires, arts and crabs, and seeing Christopher again while learning about sharks. And most of all swimming and going down the slide.
I am sad already and cant wait to go back next year!

Glad you had a good time. We enjoy Hilton Head all year long. Counting the days until our Halloween visit.

I love this time of year at the beach, too. I will be there in 2 days with DS13 and DS9. Sounds like they still have activities for the kids this time of year.

We hope to fish off the beach, but it looks like the surf is pretty high now -- reported as 7 feet at weather.com for the past few days. Is there a pier to fish from? Maybe the surf will bring in some good shells.
