Hi all - Just got back last night from the Happy Haunts event. Spent last week at the Grand Floridian & had an amazing time.
The weather was perfect except for one rainshower Thursday night.
We did MNSSHP on Thurs. the 28th. It seems as tho they are selling alot more tickets than they used to. The last time I did MNSSHP was in 1999 & it was a very intimate event. This time the streets were shoulder to shoulder. As I had no little ones, most of the attractions I did didn't have very long waits. I did hold off on Fantasyland until after the fireworks & it seemed to have thinned out a bit.
The Fireworks for MNSSHP are absolutely amazing.
The Food & Wine Festival was fabulous. Again, much more crowded than I have experienced in previous years. Either the word has really gotten out, or alot of folks were rescheduled for this week due to the hurricanes earlier.
MGM was the least crowded park & we were able to do RnRC back to back within a very short time - 10 min wait the first ride, then maybe 20 the next.
Friday I spent most of the day wandering Epcot until I met up with friends that evening. We had a nice leisurely dinner around the WS before heading back to the resort to lounge by the pool.
We went to AK on Sat. & again, shoulder to shoulder. I was pretty suprised that it was so crowded on a Sat. I think alot of people were there to avoid the crowds at MK. DTD was also incredibly packed. I will avoid doing that again on a Sat also.
I'm happy to answer any questions if there are any.
