Just back from FW...

We are just back from our trip to Fort Wilderness!! Had a great trip, and can't wait to go back....We took our popup trailer this time, and stayed in 1500 loop. Great location.

It should be noted that they are currently working on the bath house/snack stand/arcade by the Meadows swimming pool. The are putting a new roof on the place, and was told by a CM that it will be under construction until the end of JUNE!! However, the pool is still open, but it is very noisy with many workman lurking about.

Other than that, the campground was great....

We must have been neighbors. We just got back yesterday and stayed in the 1600 loop. In fact, just about 3 sites down from us was RocklandRVer. Weather was great, wasn't it? We had a great stay, too. A little trouble with our truck on the way home - was running a little hot so I had to run the heater all the way home to cool the engine down. Guess I have to call the dealer today. Anyway, glad you had a good time. Time to start planning the next trip!

We just got back too. We were in the 800 loop (867). Close to the bus stop and campfire program. The buses were very slow (waited up to 30 minutes). We were scheduled to head back Sunday morning, but we left for home earlier Saturday 11:30 pm. We wanted to head home before the storm. We have a pop up and the wind really rocks the roof. The confront station is in need for renovate. Over all it was a wonderful weekend.

Wonder if other pop up owners have the same problem with wind gust. We have extra support bars yet when the wind blows the roof rocks.
