Just back from DVC Magic NYC cruise any questions?

dumb question and I know the answer is yes but trying to get confirmation or experiences with the luggage claim and customs - is this port similar to port canaveral with going to pick up your luggage in the claims area and going through customs? More chaotic or smaller? Less chaotic?

We walked right through the baggage claim area, which was very much like Disney's. I think they gave our numbers with color areas. The line was so long getting off and getting just to the custom desks (as we wound through the luggage stacks), that taking or leaving our luggage didn't make much difference. Only thing is by having our luggage we didn't have to go find our luggage and then try to get back in line. We had driven, so we just went to the parking on top after.
