Just back from Disney World--few things I thought everyone would be interested in

Just to add a quick comment about the crowds and weather lately, I returned about two hours ago from a 9 night trip. The weather was terrible ( I was prepared for the heat and the daily showers, but 4 hour storms are not afternoon showers). The crowds were much higher than I had heard they would be and heard several CM's commenting on how unusually crowded the parks were for this week. Lines were everywhere, fastpass helped but if you got a late start it did nothing. (One day the Test Track fast pass machines were done by 1pm). Also we noticed large discrepancies with the stated vs actual ride times. Most times not in our favor but a couple of happy suprises. During our ten days however, I never once saw the CM's using the tags to measure the wait time. There were many times passing by winnie the pooh or peter pan that you could tell that the time was way off base.

I just go back from my trip yesterday (We had to unpack the tent and the camping gear and air them out before I could do anything). I didn't think the crowds were that bad. They were just slightly more than the same time last year. We got on everything that we wanted to see and had only two long lines. We know that they are trying to adjust time because we were given tags twice on the trip and saw it a couple more times during the week.

The rain was just like last year. There was just one really long rain and that was on Friday. It started at 4 and didn't stop untilwell past 11. The boys were thinking of doing e-ticket that night but got through everything they wanted at the MK that morning so they skipped it. Good thing because of the rain and lightning.
