I gotta say no matter what Disney does it is done right. We just returned from Spring Training, and things just couldn't have gone smoother. I thought for sure there would be some complaints. Teenage girls can be difficult, but there was nothing but smiles, and laughs the whole 5 days we were there. The principal feels the girls are definately different than the ones that left. No I didn't exchange them. :rotfl2: The team stayed at All Star Sports, as did hundreds of other school sports teams. Personally I am glad I stayed at BWV, and left the watching over the girls to the parent group. At least I got to sleep. ;) As soon as we got back we began to plan for next years trip. It was that good. Did we win any games? Nope, but the experience, and education is something that you just can't get in a classroom. This was an experience they will never forget. Of course we are a "slow pitch" softball team, and we played all fast pitch teams. We did get better as the week went along, and were very comptative by weeks end. So my advice if you are thinking about this is to do it! :scratchin You won't regret it!

thanks for posting about this. I didnt' know that this could be done........thanks again.........did you go to any good restauratns while you were there?

Glad you had such a good time. DH plays mens slow pitch and we go to Disney every Sept for a tournament. It is always a great time. Kids were excited to see the stadium on TV the other day for an Atlanta Braves spring training game. They said "Hey Daddy, thats were we went!" DH didn't actually get to play on the big field (only major A players played there) They played on fields in the area and then at the Sports Park the last 2 days.

I had to do the Hoop Dee Doo...once again it didn't disappoint! Even the 13 young ladies loved it very much, and have talked about it extensively. I did enjoy Spoodles for breakfast one day. I thought it was reasonable, and the service was very good.

Yeah, the girls were really enjoying walking through all the Braves on the way out of the complex every day. While we were there they played the Tigers. I was amazed at the amount of ball players there. There had to be 4 or 5 teams worth of players there. They were very kind to the girls, and signed their gloves. They didn't even charge them.

So glad your team had a good time. My daughter's team did that the last 2 yrs. We had a very bonded team. She's in college now so I'm going w/o her this year. :sad1:
