Just back from Disney... SBR news

Okay... remember those cool 2005 albums? They're red and have the party theme/saying for this year? Sold out!! They MIGHT have them again next month. They did have 2005 Pooh albums... the SAME as last year. Only "05" instead of "04" and they're blue this year... not green. BORING!! BUT they have new punches. (I'm not into punches, but bought two... LOL!!) They have Mickey head paper clips... more like Making Memories than the new EK Success ones. They also have wax seals.... oh and I found some vellum tags, too.

When you're there... ask for refills for their 12x12 albums. They're keeping track of the inquiries.

What else... oh yeah. I was talking to one of the CMs because one of their kits FINALLY has clear backed stickers (I always had to cut the colors off the other stickers). Anyway... I told him how excited I was about the clear backed stickers, the paper clips (bought on Sunday... sold out on Wednesday) and the seals. He said the powers that be just had a big brain storming session and we should be seeing new things in the future.

The prices have changed on the books... they used to be $25... they're now $28.

They seemed to have a few new different princess/tink albums, but I have 3 boys and won't use them.

Looks like they're catching on!!

Does anyone know if they still have those stickers or stampers (can't remember which) that were vintage Mickey and friends? I think they were about $6 a box, so they must have been stickers.

Hi!!!
I was just at WDW this week and saw some the new items ya'll are talking about! But I didn't get a chance to go into the actual scrapbooking store there I saw some of the puches... Mickey waving, little Mickey head,Tigger, and Pooh at one of the other stores in DTD. But the stores were closing and I didn't get a chance to find out if there are any other new punches out or if that was it. If anyone knows about more new puches that I missed please let me know!!!

NO WAY!!!!!! FINALLY is right! I was beginning to think they would NEVER figure this one out! It takes me forever to trim around their dumb stickers! LOL!

Although I did see a new sticker pack for the Happiest Celebration at LaughingPlace and they were not clear backed, so I guess they haven't totally caught on just yet! Nice to know they are working on it though!

Tell me about it!! The few I have used were from the Pooh kit... it was a sticker of Pooh and Piglet with LOTS of flowers!! What was I thinking??? Took me forever to cut around those flowers... LOL!!!

I bought some Disney paper clips at my LSS and I was planning to clip them to journaling blocks and stuff like that. Some people clip their pictures to the page with them, but I am not comfortable with them touching my pictures.

DH and I went over to WDW for a quick getaway (we live an hour and a half away) and today I convinced him to stop at Downtown Disney. I bought a package of 6 rolls of tape for $3.00, which I thought was quite reasonable. They have Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Tink, Pooh, Tigger and the whole gang. I had hesitated buying them before because I didn't know how to use them, but I saw a show on PBS where Michelle Gerbrant showed different uses for them. You can use the tape for page borders, pictures frame, accent blocks, etc.

That was the only thing from the store that impressed me (but I was just there in December).

I've used round paper clips on title bars. In fact they loked very similar to mickey heads without the ears.
