Let me say that this resort was beautiful. The grounds, pools, etc were very nice. But the food court...........
was too far away (We were in building 8B)
the Pepper Market did not work for us (we have 2 kids 3
and 6) by the time my DH got the food for them he
then had to go and wait and wait and wait (get the idea)
for our food. So the kids were finished even before we
we started.
We won't be staying there again.
We are thinking of next time starying off property and getting a 1 or 2 bedroom suite and renting a car.

OH...... The WDW bus service was bad!!!! We waited a long time for buses and one of them must have been in training for the Demoliation Derby.

HI! We were in 8b also. I thought this was a great location. I don't get why you had to wait so long for your food, but not the kids' food. Maybe a suite will work better for you until yor kids are a little older. County Inn and Suites at Calypso Cay is really nice (and new). They havea zero-depth entry pool with water slide, rooms and suites with coffeemakers, microwave and frig. , hairdryer, iron, queen beds. Also, free breakfast. I've seen the rooms and suites for as low as $49-$64 on valuetrips.com. They also have 18 hole mini-golf. I know if you book through value trips.com you do NOT have to do the timeshare presentation. I don't know about their shuttle service, but driving it is 3 minutes to WDW. I timed it. You should check out their website.

Just wanted to say I agree with your comments 100%. I notice that most people who like the food court there are couples. We found it totally unmanageable with 2 small children. We have no desire to return there, because eating was such a hastle.

I must say it is very beautiful, though. Loved the nature trail and just walking around the place.
