Just back from 8 days at CBR Jamaica 45. We felt that the staff was very nice & helpful. Our mousekeeper made it alot of fun to come back to the room, as she made many cute towel animals the kids got a kick out of....we also tipped her daily in special envelopes we made up at home. Our room was very clean & always made up by the time we got back from the parks. That was not the case at ASMu....clean rooms, but not ready until late in the day.
When we arrived, the computers were down & there was chaos at Custom House. I had faxed them my requests 4 days in advance as I was told to do on the DIS. Luckily, I had a copy of that, because they had none. We had wanted early check in, but instead had to sit around for 3 hours. The good news was, they issued us 4 - 1 day hoppers to use up to 2006 for the inconvenience. Thanks Tammy!!
If we stayed at CBR again, we would definately not stay in Jamaica. The walk was longer than we like. We leave the walking for the parks. And with the terrible rains we experienced, the bridge was under water. Walking thru that standing water in the dark was sort of creepy! Once we were at our destination, though, we were very happy. We made good use of the pool & the food court, which was very good. They also got to know us at the gift shop!
