Just back from CBR, any questions?

Spent a few days at CBR last week (on Disney's tab). Had a great time at the resort and a few of the parks. Anyone have any questions?

What building and room did you stay in? How far from the Food Court? Was check in easy? How where the Parks-crowded or not? Thanks!

We stayed in Jamaica, room #4225 (king bed, water view). Not far from the food court at all, just over the bridge and you are there. No lines at all at check in (we got there around noon on Sunday), room wasn't ready until about 2:30 so we went to the pool to enjoy the weather. We went to MGM Monday morning, it wasn't too crowded, but moreso than I'm used to because I usually go around Labor Day when it is dead. We went to Epcot in the late afternoon and it was busy because the Food and Wine Festival was going on, but it wasn't swamped. Test Track line was about 50 minutes, but Mission Space was only 15 minutes so we did that (good ride, but not for everyone). We were only at CBR for 2 nights, but it was a nice stay. Thanks a lot! Did you use the Bus from CBR? How were the wait times? Thanks again! I leave in 12 days for my first trip to CBR!

We didn't use the bus at all (we had a car), but it always seemed like there were busses at the stops and never seemed like a ton of people waiting. Have fun at CBR, this was my second time staying there and you really feel like you are in the middle of the Caribbean, the resort is big and spread out, but everything is easy to get to.

jxh1 - Did you happen to notice if there were jets working in the hot tub at CBR? Last year there were no "bubbles" (kinda missing something there) and it was kept at such a high temperature we couldn't enjoy it.

Were you able to see the fireworks from Epcot at your bldg.?? I've heard you can see them from some of the bldgs. Were you happy with the rooms there?? Were going there real soon and I can't wait...Thanks

Was your room refurbished? I heard they were fixing up the rooms and am wondering if they've completed the entire resort. I'll be at CBR in December and don't want an "old room."

All the rooms at CBR have already been refurbished. I suggest you read the FAQ and you can learn all sorts of information about the resort. There are up to date trip reports also. The link is below.
