Our first stay at BWV and we loved it!! We arrived around 12:30 on 11/30, but our room was not ready, so we put our luggage in storage and headed to MGM for the afternoon. We called a few times to see if the room was ready, but it was not. We headed back over to BWV after the parade in hopes that the room would be ready for 4pm. The only "Welcome Home" we received was from a manager at Guest Services when we were picking up our CP tickets.
The CM checking us in was not the friendliest. I had a very difficult time hearing her and had to ask her to repeat things multiple times! As we were finishing up, the very friendly CM next to her offered my DS and DD coloring books and crayons (too bad we could not have gotten him!!)
We had a preferred room (#3014). A little disappointed when we looked out the balcony to find the view of a tree and the white tent covering the area where they tore down the red building. Not what I would consider a "preferred view", but did not complain as we did not spend a lot of time in the room.
The room was in good condition and clean. On the 3rd day, we could not put the sleeper sofa back without forcing it, so we called maint. When we returned, the sofa was back together. We pulled it out and without even opening it the entire way discovered we would have the same problem again. The next morning we called Maint. again and asked to have someone come up while we were in the room to show us what we were doing wrong. Jeffrey from Maint. arrived within 5 minutues and had the same problem we did. He explained that he would replace the entire mechanism so we would not have the problem again. When we arrived back at the room that evening, the bed pulled out with very little effort and appreared to have a whole new frame for the mattress.
Overall, we were very happy with the BWV. The pool was very nice and we loved the slide. Just the perfect size for our kids to go up and come down on their own without us having to go up each time with them (brr...it was a little chilly when you got out of the water!!)
