Just a quick note. Spent 8 days at the boardwalk. 1st night in a std. studio and then the rest in a 2BR preferred view.
Both the rooms were ok, the standard view was fine, and the preferred room was overlooking the pool. We were first assigned the last on at the end of one of the halls. Quite a hike! They changed me for no charge, which was nice. Room looked like it was in need of a rehab. We had the inlaws with us, so 9 in a room (2 infants), and it worked out fine.
We like the location, but can't wait to get back to our home, SSR.
We had great bus luck, but got off at the swan each time because on the return we seemed to be the last stop. Not fun! Had a it of a wait leaving AK and when we got off the bus there were 2 other empty AK buses behind us.
Never again will we go at the end of March. I thought we'd miss the major crowds, I guess not. We usually go in the slower seasons, so defintiely not used to this. Good thing we like to just wander and go with the flow.
Got to ride toy story mania and I feel bad for the people waiting so long in line! It's not what I was expecting. Fun, but I don't think I'll ride it again unless there are no lines.
Still a great vacation. Getting ready to plan for Feb 2010 since I upgraded our passes to APs while I was there. $48 to go from my Cdn 7day PH, which I paid $280CDN for. Couldn't pass it up!
