We stayed in the most incredible 2br villa. Rooms 5003/5005. It's a long walk from the elevator but the view is worth it. I'm still amazed we got such a great room. The service at BWV was superb as always - in fact it keeps getting better. I'm just sorry to be home. :(

We were right there with you on that long walk...we were in rooms 5008/5010 last week...a hike (2 min, 5 sec...but who's counting LOL), except we didn't have the BW view, but a nice view of the canal, MGM, Swan. As much as we wanted a BW view (and still would, next trip), I have to say...I don't think there's anywhere at BWV we'd be too disappointed.

Glad you enjoyed it. :)

I'm not sure how we got the boardwalk view - I only requested it one week prior to our trip. I called to confirm everything and on a whim made a boardwalk view request. The kids watched the fireworks every night - they would point and say "Wow!!!" It was so much fun to stand on our balcony and watch the people eating at the Big River Brewery, watch the juggler, and watch the piano player. There's so much excitement down there every night you really get caught up in it.

I've been in this area too (4th floor though), and you're right... the best perferred view of them all, IMO.

By the way, is there a short-cut down the stairs to get out to the boardwalk? We tried this once, and come out into a garden area, and then got all turned around trying to find our way out.

Have others mastered the secret of the BWV stairwells yet?

We were in 3121, there was a stairwell across from our room that led down to the walkway by the pond near the bus stop. It worked out OK until the last day when we got to the bottom and opened the door for the first floor they had the carpet all torn up and were working on it. Oops! Walked back up to 2 and took the hallway to the lobby.

We had a stroller with us so we really didn't have the option of walking down 5 flights of stairs.

Hi One -

We were your neighbors in 5007/5009. You're right - what an incredible view. Did you like the rowdies that woke everybody up at 1:30 AM one night? Where's a water balloon when you need one :) It was a veryyyyy long walk but it was worth the view. The weather could not have been better, no major lines anywhere. Hmm, why did we come home.

It is so nice to hear from someone that just got back and had a great time!

Thanks for the positive vibes!

Joshua

Bugeye - that's funny that you were next door. Yes I did hear them and thought the same thing. I think that was Monday night :) The first day one of the kids dropped a toy to the balcony below us - 3003. We finally got hold of them by the end of the week to get the toy back. It was funny looking down every day to see the toy on their balcony but have no way to get to it. The CMs wouldn't go in their room.
