Just back from a great stay at BWV. After spending several days at the beach with family, I spent a week solo at WDW. That was a new experience and I had the best time!
I arrived later than I anticipated. They had no standard studios left, so they had assigned me a preferred room. The only "drawback" was that it was a handicapped room (not my favorite for various reasons), and it was the only studio still available for that first night. So I said "no problem", and decided the room would be great no matter what. They did offer to change my room the next day if I would like to do so.
Well, the location was so perfect that they couldn't have dynamited me out of the room if they'd tried.
It was #1048, on the first floor facing the Luna Park Pool, and it was the first one in the hallway. (The opposite wing from the workout room and arcade) It was fantastic being just a few footsteps away from both the pool and the Boardwalk. I had to do laundry too, and that was also nice and close. I loved not having to wait for an elevator, I loved zipping back and forth for quick drink refills, I loved it all. OK, I'm starting to gush. You get the picture.
I'd gladly stay in that room anytime. I guess it was lucky for me that I arrived late and wound up with such a nice room.
