We just got home yesterday from our wonderful trip "home" to the BWV!

We stayed one night in a studio at our other "home" VWL before heading to BWV! The studio at VWL was nice as expected and the pool was inviting.

The BWV was fabulous, and we got an amazing standard view!
We had a 2 bedroom, rooms 4105 and 4107 (studio part) and we could see the EPCOT fireworks every night.

The staff was very nice and the room in great shape.

We met with our DVC guide, Dave for a little chat. We enjoyed seeing him and experiencing great DVC service.

We met up with Jenn & Peter (Hygiene99) on the bus and chatted about DVC and the DIS. It was great to meet them. :)

All in all a great trip and we love being members of DVC.
Any questions, please ask.

No questions, just glad to hear you had a wonderful trip.:)

How was attendance while you were there? Never been during the holidays and was wondering if it was pretty packed.

We will be staying in a standard view one-bedroom in June. Did you put in any requests to get the good location? Were you closer to the elevator or the parking lot? I've only done standard view on the ground floor before, where our view was of ducks!

We were in a standard 1 bedroom last week (3121). I had requested near the tennis courts, which means down near the pond (the tennis courts are on the other side of the pond, next to the valet lot). I didn't want to be near the valet entrance, I thought the pond & fountain area was pretty. I loved our view, but it was a longgggg way down the hall, actually 2 long hallways. We could see most of the fireworks, there was a large tree blocking part. I'm not sure what I will request for next year. I loved the view but not the long walk.

We were at BWV from 12/3 - 12/8 in a one Bdrm. Thought the place was decorated beautifully for the Holidays. The weather was great, no crowds (lots of seniors)and no lines in any of the parks! The highlight for us was the MMVCP and the fireworks that night! Really no way to describe how awesome those were.

Our only disappointment was the Endeavor launch. We had a great spot to watch from our balcony but the clouds were too low for viewing.

Did you see the Juggler on the boardwalk? We really enjoyed his act.

We were disappointed by the shuttle launch too. We were standing by ESPN on Tuesday night, that's supposed to be a good spot, looking towards the Eifel Tower at the WS. We left the room about 10 minutes before it was scheduled to go off and waited with several other people. The time passed and nothing happened, a guy from ESPN came out and said it was postponed. So Wednesday night we just stayed in the room because we could see the Eifel Tower from the porch. Saw it go off on TV and looked and looked, but nothing. :(
