I had the most amazing five day stay at WDW this past week.
We started out at BWI for our first night. I asked the CM at check-in if there was a room with a fireworks view and she worked hard to find me one. We ended up with room 5296 and the view was AMAZING! It overlooked the garden courtyard area and we could see spaceship earth, the Eiffel tower, and the Morrocan tower clearly. We got in just in time to watch illuminations and we had a perfect view of the high and low fireworks. We could even see the globe floating across the lake!!!! The room was spotless and very comfortable. We checked in at night and checked out in the morning so we didn't have a chance to use the pool. I was sad to leave...
Untill I checked in at the Dolphin and was told I got an upgrade! The room was ready by 10:00AM and my jaw dropped when I walked in. The view was even better!!! We had a balcony and once again overlooked spaceship earth and the Eiffel tower. We also had a beautiful view of the BC and BW. I watched Illuminations from the balcony for the next two nights. I figure I'll probably never get another fireworks view again so I better take advantage
. I found the pools to be a bit cold but the hot tubs were great, and it was always easy to find a lounge chair. Housekeeping was great and the heavenly bed was sooooo comfortable
. I ate at Tubbies a few times and the service and food were great.
The whole Epcot area was packed with conventions but it didn't effect our vacation or the level of service we received. I was worried when we flew down and there were no kids on the plane to Orlando
but the crowds were mixed at both resorts. There were plenty of families and young couples too. Anyways, this was agreat vacation and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask
