just back from bw and vero!!

spent last week at the bw for 2 nights and vero for 4 nights. Our studio standard view was very nice, close to the elevators as requested. Our home resort is the bw, this was our first visit( We have stayed at the Inn before). Our days at the bw seemed very hectic, we did magic kingdom during the day and then went to epcot for the fireworks, the next day we went to ak (hot and very busy) and then downtown disney at night. The next morning we took the drive to vero and thats when everybody started to relax. We love Vero, our studio was #1441, top floor overlooking the pool and ocean as requested. Our ds5 loved the pool and mini golf, dd 6 months took her first swim and loved it. We ordered room service almost every night, it was great. We are starting to beleive that we like the off property resorts better, as we can relax. All in all we had a great time, except for the baby screaming on the airplane on the way home. By the way the screaming baby was OURS!!

We're doing a similar holiday later this year, Vero is lovely isn't it. I love the surrounding area too, it's so well maintained. Our DD who is 7 months will be taking her visit to America in October, a 10hr flight! We've just come back from a week in Palma, Majorca and she enjoyed her first flight. Hopefully we'll be lucky again but somehow I doubt it!

Did you request the room position or specific room when you booked thru MS? we haven't requested anything specific, we're staying in a std view at BW too but are pushing the boat out for a 1BR at Vero.

Yes we did make requests for our room locations. At the bw we requested top floor close to the elevators. we ended up on the 2nd floor , three rooms from the elevators over looking the main entrance. At vero we requested vacation home #14 overlooking the mini golf and ocean, We got just what we asked for. Make sure to do the character breakfast at vero on saturday morning, the food was good and goofy and max were a lot of FUN. By the way , we made the requests with ms when we made the ressies and then followed up with a fax 5 days before arrival.
