Just back yesterday. The BC/YC is our new fave! Previously we stayed at Poly and WL. We loved the pool. We loved Beaches and Cream. Cape May Cafe was so so. After reading the threads I tend to agree that the lobby of the BC is very crowded. We probably will go to the YC next time. But, we loved the convienence of the resort. Sometimes when you stay at a resort you feel like you are hostage if you don't have a car. With this resort you can walk to the Boardwalk, Epcot or boat to MGM (DH even went to ESPN for a drink while I napped with the kids - hey its vacation!). It was great to have all those options to dine etc. Our room had a view of the Epcot fireworks. Good view - room could use a little spruce up. Checkin was not good. No room even at 3pm (we had been on the road and at the resort since 4am so this was not good). When we did get a room there was somebody in it! He was moving out because he was supposed to have a waterview. Even mousekeeping said "front desk is messing up all over the place today!". It was not a great start. Finally settled in. Room service was good - but the menu is more limited than the Poly room service and is not the menu that is all the allears website. We rented a Boston Whaler from the marina and my DS 4 had a ball. Bus service was good to Magic Kingdom. Food at the Marketplace is yummy. The refillable mug station needs some type of fruit juice beverage like other resorts. All they have is soda and light lemondade which my son hated. All and all until my DD 2 came down with an acute gastro illness and had to be taken to the hospital - we were having a GREAT time. When I called the front desk for information on an urgent care facility - they connected me to a physician service that comes to the room. Long story short after a ambulance ride, 4 hour emergency room visit with no one seeing us, and lastly a gypsy cab ride I got home with DD. My DH had moved to AS Sports because Beach Club was going to charge us rack rate. Flew home yesterday. (Don't get me started about Spirit Air!) We loved the BC and would stay there again. Would have been nice to get a call inquiring how DD was though......

We will be staying at the Yacht Club for the first time in July. We agree, Epcot area is the best area to stay. Thanks for your update. princess:

Sorry about your daughter. I hope she is feeling better.

You had quite an experience! I'm glad you didn't let it spoil your vacation memories.
