Just Back from BCV

Hi all!
Just back from BCV. Room was not ready, but we were early. However, at 5 pm, room still not available. Finally get in room.
Room 548/550-2BR Lockoff.
548 was spotless.
550 had some minor problems-fan control knob was missing, lights on porch were burned out; otherwise, no complaints.
Never did complain about the light, it was nice to have the room dark for our 7 month old.

Well, getting paged-work beckons-more later, but trip was great!

We checked in on May 23.

SAB was great.
CMs were very helpful.
I complained to one outside of Imagination about smokers hanging around the stroller parking area and smoking. In less than 30 seconds he had a talk with them and some of them left and others put out their cancer sticks. Personally, if smokers can't stick to the designated areas, I wish WDW would go totally smoke free-but that is for another board.
Anyway, back to the Vacation Club. We went to see Saratoga Springs- got there about 6:15 or so. Was informed that the models were closed at 6:00 pm and that if we wanted to see them, to come back another day. That was on our last day, so we never went back.

Interestingly enough-we saw NO Lime Green Mickeys!!!!! and I know a lot of our friends from these boards were there. Oh well, maybe in October.

By the way, were doing the less than 140 day dance

Doc, I'm sorry we missed you. We were just down the hall from you, (see my long post!) Sounds like you had better housekeeping than we did. Out of curiosity, was your balcony filthy dirty too. I just wondered if being on the road side causes alot of the grime to build up on the balconys. Not a major issue, but we had to wipe the hand rail down, so the kids wouldn't get dirty when they leaned on it to watch the fireworks. Sorry we didn't get to meet. Erin

Doc - glad to hear your trip went well. We also own at BCV and all these neg reports are getting a little scary.

Doc, thanks for the good report. We own at BCV and made our first trip there last March. Our room was clean and except for a scratch on the dining room table was well maintained. Our only complaint was the awful water pressure in the showers. We have SUPER water pressure at home so our expectations may be unrealistic on that one LOL.....Lacee
