Just back from BCV, and compared to BWV,

Thanks so much for the update and comparison. We just purchased at BCV this July and are taking our first trip next year. We were very excited when we purchased and even more excited after your report!!!!!!

No doubt it was the right thing to do!!!

Actually I assumed it as intended for BWV members and those staying there only. I doubt they would kick BWI guests out but doubt it was intended for their use. I assume it comes directly out of the dues for BWV and not a shared expense.

I don't know if BWV picks up the full cost of Community Hall or is subsidized by BWI. But when we were there to borrow VHS tapes, I think that the selection book states that non-DVC members pay a fee. I think that it is also the only place to pick up life vests and pool noodles.

So, I imagine that anyone staying at BWI would be allowed to use Community Hall. If a hotel guest was signing out swimming gear there, I'm sure they would be allowed to play a game of ping pong. Have no idea what the DVC or Disney policy actually is.

Thanks for the comparison. Our home resort is BWV but we are staying at BCV this trip. We will be there in 53 days. DH is skeptical. He likes his "home". Your post made me feel alot better about staying at BCV. The pics I have seen are great. They seem very similar. Thanks again. ~Darla
