Great pics!!! We are staying at BCV in July for a family trip. Myself,my DH my DD, my parents and my brother. I requested a dedicated 2 bedroom and also didn't realize about the bed situation. My main reason to request one was so there wasn't a door in the 2nd bedroom that accesses the hallway because of my young daughter. That is how they are set up right? There is no access to the hall from the 2nd bdr? I don't think the sofal bed will matter because my daughter will sleep on it or a bed anyway

pam66-that's right...no door to the hallway. Actually I found their room setup interesting! This is a shot from my camcorder:

You can see that the door for the room is directly to the right, and in place of the door that would access the hallway there is a closet! Also, in place of the fridge and micro there is another closet. So needless to say, in the dedicated units there is plenty of closet space!

Thanks for the response niks81. I think I will be happy with a dedicated that has a sofa bed if that's the way it turns out. It sounds like I will have more choices if I leave it that way. Our trip is in July and I can't wait to go..I'm itching to pack already!

Thanks for the photos! We walked around the halls a little when we were at WDW in January, but didn't go see any BCV units. Is the kitchen/living room really as cramped as it looks? We checked out the location to see if we might want to stay there some time, but like BWV, we decided it didn't appeal much to us. The closeness to Epcot would be great, but not sure the rest of it is what we want in a DVC vacation. I guess that is why we have so many choices with DVC. EVERYONE can get what suits them best!

I too am skeptical about BCV as I am too a BW girl at heart (maybe because it was the first DVC place we stayed at?), although I have fallen for OKW and have since stayed in WL so I am looking forward to VWL.

Your post has me anticipating how I will be taken by it. Are you posting a trip report?

Diane--Yes, I'm being totally honest here....the kitchen/living room is as cramped as it looks. I don't mean that in a bad way, BUT I do think it is even smaller than BWV. This does not bother me at all because if want that huge living area I will go to OKW! But I wouldn't consider BCVs cramped either, just smaller

Lisa--Don't worry, BW is only a short walk away! Yes, I did a lonnnnngggggg trip report so unless you want to read for 8 hours I would keep away

Was your room a smoking room?

If it was and you don't smoke was there a bad smoke smell all the time or does this go away?

I am not trying to start anything I simply like the view and would be happy with this room if it did not have a horrible stench! Smoke does not bother me, much. Thanks! Again, I cannot stress enough that I am not attempting to start a debate!

No, our room was non smoking, and I couldn't agree with you more. I don't think your comment would start a debate...obviously more people have problems with it than you (and I, can't stand it) which is why they have smoking and non smoking.
