Hi, Just got back last night. Had a great time and if I can help anyone let me know. :flower:

Welcome back. Hope you had a great time. Any work being done on Beaches and Cream? I heard they were going to do some renovations. Did you hear anything about it? Thanks.

Thanks for the offer of help.

I'm glad to hear you had a great trip :cheer2:

I do have a question...
Is there a good breakfast at Cape May without doing the character meal? Or does the character meal take-up the entire restaurant in the morning? Buffet looks good....can you buy that only? ....or does the popularity of the character meal at Cape May make the restaurant and buffet off-limits to anyone without a ADR appointment for character dinning?

Anyone know if the Crystal Palace is the same at MK? Would like to eat there, but left it off the list because I heard it was character dining only?

Cape May Cafe is a character breakfast, but that doesn't mean you can't eat there. You don't have to be bothered with the chracters if you don't want to.

It helps to have an ADR, but unless it is very busy you can most likely get a walk up table.

Thanks for the help.

I guess... I just thought they might charge more for Character meals?
I thought that character meals cost two TS on the dining plan.

Is a Buffet considered...TS or CS on the meal plan?

The character buffets are 1 TS credit on the dining plan. The only one that will be 2 credits will be CRT starting next year. As far as cost is concerned, the CMC breakfast buffet is $17.99 per adult. Not the cheapest breakfast in the world, but you get a lot for your money.

Yes, renovations are being done on Beaches and Cream - something about tile and the back wall. Don't worry though, the Yacht Club Galley is offering many of the Beaches and Cream menu items. By the way, the No Way Jose is outstanding!!

Off to the Boardwalk! ::MickeyMo

Hi,
We're going in Feb me DH DS 7 & 5. What part of the resort did you stay in and what would you recommend asking for. Thanks

That's my question too. :)

We had a garden view room which means first floor with a patio. I like it because there is a walkway that is the last one leading onto the walkway in front of the hotel. You just turn left and in two minutes you are in the park. I have had water view and standard view. To be honest I really would go with standard. It saves money and the way Disney has things laid out even if you face a parking lot there are trees in front of it so no big deal. (for me) Some of the rooms can be a hike from the lobby. It feels like you're in a maze. That is my only complaint about the BC. It's a great resort for pool lovers and if Epcot and World Showcase are your favorites it's a must. (my opinion) Yacht Club is beautiful but a little to stuffy for me. Hope that helps. Everyone has different tastes so I hope you find what fits for you.
