Just Back From a Fabulous Trip to BCV!

Colleen... Thanks for asking, my DH is still not doing well. I honestly don't know the symptoms of the norwalk virus are, but he has stuff coming out of both ends if you know what mean. He started feeling sick on Saturday and couldn't go to Castaway Cay with the kids and I and then it really hit him hard yesterday.

That sounds like the symptoms of the Norwalk virus... that is really too bad, what an awful way to end a vacation. :(

Hope he feels better very soon, and that nobody else in your family catches it!

Terry, we will all wish your dh magic so those body fluids quit flowing... Did you read TwinMom's post recently about her trip? Her twins became ill, one so bad that they couldn't even fly home right away. The "Norwalk family of viruses" are evidently best described as "the stomach flu from Hell." Hope your sweetie is feeling better soon... Start planning the next trip to make him feel better!

Glad to hear you had a great time, Terry. One of these days I'll get to stay at BCV, my home resort. I've never cruised before, but since I'm not a "beach person" I'm not sure I'd care much for it. I still want to try it at least once though!;)

Michael Jackson once came to a convention I was attending. He wore an over-the-head latex monkey mask the entire time.
He's a nut!
And don't feel bad for the guy because people surround him in public--he eats it up. There are celebrities at Disney parks all the time and Disney has ways of shuttling them around from ride to ride so they are left alone if they so desire. If he was walking down Main Street, it was because he wanted to bask in the adoration of his fans (as well as the little boys nearby).

I am curious the ages of your kids?

We are booked for our first DCL cruise (7 night Western - Dec. 6th :D )

My kids will be 7 & 5 (boys) staying at Boardwalk for 2 nights before the cruise.

Would love to hear if they like the "planned activities" or just did more of the fly by the pants:eek: stuff? Specifically science experiments - Goofy's slumber party?

I am really excited for them! I think this will be there first vacation that is really theres to plan and enjoy! We plan to let them do whatever they would like!

For those who think living vicariously through their children! I am right there, I heard that adults can't go to the Oceaneers stuff, but it sounds like I would love it!!! I guess I will have to bribe them for all the good stories!

Any info Terry is appreciated!

An oh yah! I am so glad you had a great trip - thanks for spreading the Magic

Carolyn
