Just back from 8 nights at VWL

We stayed 3 nights in a studio and then moved to a 2 bedroom when our friends joined us for the rest of the vacation. Both rooms were great and we enjoyed our stay.

With that being stated, I did have one issue and that was with the laundry room on the first floor for those staying in the studio's (DVC members that is). This room needs major rework as wallpaper is peeling off the wall, portions of ceramic tile were missing from the floor, etc. I've been in that room before back in September of 07 and its just gotten even worse. When I have time I plan on sending a write up to DVC to let them know of the condition.

Sorry - I don't have any pictures from our rooms, etc. - Our two bedroom was on the 5th floor - 5557 and we had a great view of the woods. I "think" the odd number rooms on the 5th floor tended to all face the woods while the even numbered rooms - well I'm not quite sure what they saw out there windows.

Great pictures!!! We will be going this Xmas since we have never been during that time. I will say that staying in a two bedroom certainly spoiled us on future vacations. Since it will just be my immediate family I decided to get the 1 bedroom and boy am I glad I booked that (for Xmas). Although the Studio is nice you don't really know how nice it is to have the two seperate rooms till you actually stay in one.

i totally agree - it was a nightmare when we were there LAST June. one of the washers was leaking and the entire floor was flooded - not to mention hot beyond belief

I hope you do take a minute to write or even call MS about the condition of the laundry room. They need to know! Glad to hear your trip was great overall!

Yes - I just got done sending an email letting them know of my experience in case they didn't know the state of that room. I'm sure it doesn't get a ton of visitors since the 1/2 bedrooms have the units in their room.

Also - I forgot to mention that this was the first time we tried the grocery delivery and was pleasantly happy regarding it. The young lady who delivered the groceries could tell we were in a hurry to get out the door and she offered to put the groceries away for us. She also would not accept a tip from us. I did let DVC know about how she was very nice and polite - always people like her which make the trips just that much better.
