I am just going to make remarks on the plan itself and I will try and do a dining review later this week.

We did DxDDP plan last year and absolutely loved it! So we did again... this is year it was just WAY TOO MUCH FOOD! I am not sure what we did so different between the years... but we were actually dreading meal time by the end of the week! One of the main differences I think was last year we had a 2 1/2 year old that didn't have a plan... but ate well.. so he helped us out with "eatting" up our credits. This year at 3 1/2 he had his own plan (Obviously) so we started the week out with 84 meal credits and 56 snack credits... :rotfl2:
:rotfl2:

Also.. we ate more lunches this year... I think the plan works much better just doing a breakfast and a 2TS dinner... the only 2TS meal we did was HHDR... my children sadly do not behave well enough to take them to most signature dining... but I wish we would have done another show or two.

Let's see... the plan was very easy to use... the wait staff was extremely accommodating and helpful everywhere we went. We were dining with my mom and step dad so all together we were a party of 6. 18% was automatically added everywhere except 1 place... where I left 18% anyway.

We did end up using all our credits and only had to "blow" 9 snack credits the last day. My kids ate their weight in Ice Cream and Popcorn... but it is nice not having to tell them no.

We save about $500 with DXDDP... but there is NO WAY we would have eatten as much (or I should say ordered at much because we left half our food on our plates) without the plan. We spent about $270ish on tips... aiyiyi

We have no idea what we are going to do next year... the regular DDP doesn't really fit us either... (we really really hate QS in the parks) but no more DxDDP I don't think.... I love having the food pre-paid for so I cannot imagine going with no DDP.... Lots to think about.

Many similar threads this afternoon as it`s a common problem - regular DP is not enough, and DxDP can be too much, depending upon circumstances: too much food, too many ADRs, too many snacks, etc.

We are doing a combo DxDP and DP this trip as we`ve done it all. We really need a 2 TS plan, but I`m sure Disney would never do it as many of us upgrade from DP to DxDP, and I`m sure Disney knows this. That being said, I would love a 2 TS plan though!

Glad you had a great trip, Tiger :)
