Thanks Chattyaholic for the sugestion,
Poly was great!!! We left money and Mousekeeping gifts for housekeeping which left us with comming back to our rooms with always a suprise. And housekeeping said they could'nt wait to do our room everyday to see what we had planned for them.
We collected items from mid-west craft fairs. like one item was a snowman pin.
The food at the Kona Cafe was good no matter what meal it was, and the coco puffs YUMMMMMM a Must!!
The construction of the new pool did not seem to bother anyone, it's blocked off.
We did seem to notice a difference in some of the cast members in the parks, we were missinformed on times to come back for some of the shows, which led us for a longer wait and one person in our group to miss it.It also seemed the cast members were short staffed and when it came to parades it was hard for the cast to keep people out of harms way. I've seen this done with such finesse in the past maybe it was just an off week for them?? one person from our group left a bag back in the park, noticed right away and reported it to the Poly front desk.Filled out the information and was told to go to the M.K.Guest relations in 2 days, that it takes that long for it to get there.Well it turned out that M.K.Guest relations told us to go to the T.T.C.center & go to lost and found and ask there.we said the bag had a luggage tag attached after they said they did not get the bag handed in?? so then he said let me look in the computer, then he said it was handed in and mailed back to the address on the tag, so far the bag has not showed up, but we asked why did they not call our room at the poly we filled out all the information, he said they don't get the card from the hotel thats just for the hotel?? The Characters at the Crystal Palace at the M.K. were wonderful and the food was Great!! The Character breakfast at Chef Mickey's (Contemporary Resort) was O.K. The Characters seemed here to be disorganized only waved at our table but did not stop by at all.The food was standard fare.
Dinner at LeCellier at epcot was outstanding as was the Dinner at Artist's Point At WL.Lunch at the Hollywood Brown Derby was Excellent 5 Stars, and the Pointsetta drink my friend had has followed us home!!!! Now if I can Only get that recipe for those CoCo Puffs!! I also got very sick on my stay this time and found everyone to be very helpful!! Watching the Fireworks from the beach at the Poly was wonderful however I suggest you get your blankee & take it with you, it went from 82 to 40 in about an hour.It was an interesting trip.... planning for spring 2001!!!
