My trip report is coming but if anyone is about to cruise and has specific questions about the West Coast ports, excursions or the ship please ask and I will try to answer!!

which excursions did you do?

which spa treatments?

how was the weather?

what kind of stateroom were you in?

Thanks!

Susy

To summarize....

The weather was outstanding!! We had sun and clear skies EVERY DAY! It was windy and chilly on the sea day Friday but still sunny.

In the spa, I did the stone massage and facial, my DD did a pedicure and my other DD did a massage and facial. Everyone was happy with the spa treatments.

We were in a Cat 6 & Cat 11 (across the hall)

Excursions....
PV-
my DDs did the DCL canopy tour (they loved it)
my DH and I were alittle injured so we just went to Paradise Beach (I wasn't happy with this one, the water was warm but there is a strong river flow into the ocean here and the water looks murky.) I don't know what to recommend in its place but a taxi driver told me to ask them when you get off the ship and they would take you to a better beach than that?

I did hear the pirate ship excursion was excellent.

M-
Deer Island Kayak and Hike tour - very nice but much physical fitness is necessary for this excursion...beautiful island

C-
Coastal Tour (1 hour) around Los Arcos, it was very nice and the ship was classy.

How big is the boat? And approx how many people are on it?

Thanks!

Susy

I believe there were 2,700 people on the ship last week.

Do you have any more information on the Cabo tour? Was it worth while to take? How many people were on the tour?

:rotfl:

I meant how big was the CABO boat and how many people were on IT?

:rotfl:

Thanks,

Susy

Sorry!! We only did the cruise part of the Cabo tour but it was very nice and professionally run. You could do it cheaper but the little water taxis did not go as far or offer bar service, etc. The ship was a double decker so it held....maybe 40 people or so. The guide was excellent and the ship was classy and clean! I highly recommend it! Great photo ops!

This part of Cabo was beautiful and there are some remarkable things on the tour. Before the tour we took a water taxi to Lover's beach which you do see during the tour. It is a beautiful little beach found between rock formations at Lands End. There are no restrooms facilities but it is soooo beautiful. Just negotiate the rate with the taxi and only pay one way since our taxi came back a half an hour late..................

Bottom line,..............stick with the DCL excursions, they are always run in a professional manner! The money is worth it!
