Just back from 5 nts at Pop & MVMCP!!

Wow, is all I can say. I am exhausted.

I apologize to all those people out there that said the DDP is too much to eat.
I kept thinking, how can that be?? Well, it is!! By the 3rd day, we were behind on our snacks!!

The parks were great. Thursday Epcot was EMPTY. We walked onto every ride. Wednesday we were the VIP family for R & R coaster!! It was really cool.

We did everything in all four parks (except for the wet water rides!). No lines.

POP was great. Room was very clean, little noise, but I turned on the bathroom fan. One thing I would ask........please always look at the room number before you try to open a door. A lady was trying to get into our room at 6:30 on the morning after MVMCP!!! She kept sliding her card and knocking on the door. My DH finally got up and told her she was at the wrong room!

No problem with buses going to the parks. Only had to wait twice for about 30 minutes when trying to get back to the hotel. Our bus stop was #18 at MK. Well, do you realize there are NO BATHROOMS at the bus stops. That was so far, I couldn't go back. I thought I was going to explode . I think I need to send a suggestion into Disney.....

Food was good. We ate at Coral Reef, Trails End, Sci-Fi, Crystal Palace, & Mexico.

Oh, forgot to tell you that we were one of the ones that got to preview Monster's Inc. Comedy Club in Tomorrowland!!!

My DH, DB, & I will be going to the Pop for our first MVMCP on 12/21. We can't wait!

Okay, Monsters, Inc was interesting. I think once they have the kinks worked out it will be a good show for kids. There were lots of imaginers there listening to what we thought of the show. Mike W (one eyed Mike) is the MC.

Pop Century was very clean. Our room was not ready to check in until 4 PM. That was because they shampooed the carpets. No lines for check in.....food court had lines, but that is to be expected with that many rooms. Things moved fast. Food was okay there. Chocolate Chip Cookies are wonderful there

CM's were very nice. We didn't run into any rude CM's.

Yeah, tell us about MVMCP, how was it? What time did they let you in, what rides did you gt on? We are going on the 11th!

We were in MK all day Monday. We ate an early dinner at Crystal Palace, 3:50!! At 5 PM there were a lot of people already in the gate with the wrist bands on. I heard some one say that they were letting people in around 4 PM. You can get your wrist bands either at the front gate or at the Rose garden.

It was a beautiful night. Lots of rides open, All three mountains, Buzz, Pirates, Stitch, Snow White, Dumbo, Philharmagic, actually, more, but I can't remember. The fireworks were amazing!! The parade was really cute too. The first one was really crowded. The lines for hot cocoa moved really quickly.

The "snow" was so pretty. I really enjoyed myself.

How was the weather? Did it get very cold at MVMCP? We froze last year.

I don't think I've EVER been to Epcot when it wasn't crowded...sigh.

Now that it is Thanksgiving week, when do they expect the crowds to pick up?

The crowds were picking up on Friday. The parking lot was empty all week and when we let to drive home Friday there were a lot more cars in the lot already.

That was the emptiest I have ever seen Epcot. I will be returning that week when we return. It is a great time!

The weather was wonderful. It got into the high 60's late at night. But it was comfortable. You could tell the northern people, they were in shorts. The southerners had on jackets

I'm staying at POP Dec. 8-16. Mvmcp on the 12th. How was MK on MOnday? Was it crowded? How was your meal at Coral Reef?

I hear ya about the jackets. we were there a couple of weeks ago and had to wear our jackets around at night too.

Yes, Monday was quite crowded at MK. The meal at coral reef was different. I am not a fancy food person. I went there for the atmosphere and the seafood for my DH. I had prime rib. I didn't like it. My DH liked the Mahi Mahi he had. I am a 35 + year old and I ordered the build your own sundae for dessert!! That was wonderful.

with the mvmcp is it worth arriving earlier than 7pm for this? we have never been and it would be fantastic to get in at 4pm.

You can use MVMCP to stretch my MYW tickets...simply do other things in the AM (like Downtown Disney, Water Parks, etc)....then use MVMCP to get in at 4PM....gives you lots of time to enjoy MK and time to do the unique MVMCP events as well!

We stayed at Pop last week -- housekeeping was great in terms of cleaning and leaving towel animals. One day they made the bed with the remote control in it, though! I had called down to ask for another one (not understanding how on earth it could have gone missing, blaming the kids!) when my nephew lay down and said "ouch!" then reached under the bedspread AND sheets to pull it out.

I can understand a remote control left on the bed being collected with bedding to be replaced/washed. Can't quite figure out how you could MAKE a bed (and they were made nicely) with one in it!
