We just got back about two hours ago from spending three nights at POR and 2 nights at WL. After going to Disney over 39 times in 13 years, we got a nice surprise at WL, we were upgraded to a view of the vacation club pool. It was nice. I only wished we were spending more than two nights there. It rained while we were there, but we really had a good time. As I say a rainy day at disney is better than any day at home.
If anyone has any questions, I will be happy to answer them if I can.
We had room 5136 in WL there was no refrigerator in our room. There was an ironing board, iron, coffee maker and coffee.
We had room 2406 in POR we had a refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee, ironing board and iron in this room. Our room had a trundle bed, the bed had sheets on it, and there was an extra pillow and blanket on the shelf next to the sinks. There was a curtain between the sink area and the beds. We came back on one day from all day at the parks to find our room had not been made (cleaned) it was almost 6:30pm. We had to call the front desk, because when we called housekeeping, the phone just rang and rang. They said they would send someone. We ate at Boatwrights. It was a bit disappointing. My husband ordered the Jumbalaya and it was dry. He didn't eat that much of it. I ordered the ravioli, it was just ok. I ordered the garlic mozzerella bites for an appetizer. they were ok, but not really warm. I think the best part was my son's french bread pizza. He really enjoyed it. They did bring us cornbread, but I like my cornbread warm and it was just room temp. Husband ended up eating it instead of his meal.
We really didn't spend too much time at the WL. Except at night to go swimming. We had a good time there. The pool on the first night was a bit chilly after being in the hot tub. The second night my son and I went right into the pool and had a blast. DH went into the hot tub for a little while, then joined us for a long game of tag in the pool.
Didn't mean to bore anyone. Just typing some things that were fresh in my mind.
Let me know if anyone has any questions.
